Eastside offers a wide variety of Boxing classes that focus on improving skills, agility, speed and coordination through the use of offensive and defensive punching techniques. Warm-up, stretching, technique drills, sparring — led by highly skilled trainers who are experts in their field.

TechniquePads & Combinations.
Footwork drills, hand pads, punch combinations and conditioning drills replicating professional fighter routines. Improves speed, agility and hand-eye coordination — and gives you a high-intensity workout while you're at it.

HeavyBag Drills.
High-intensity bag workout to burn calories, tone, improve and challenge your mind. Used by boxers and combat athletes to build punching power, technique and endurance — and learning to work the heavy bag correctly increases agility, balance and coordination. Slipping, bobbing, weaving — full-body. Great class for first timers.

SparringDrills & Skills.
Sparring is a controlled fight using techniques and strategies similar to a real boxing match — essential for refining skills in a realistic setting. Drills can focus on footwork, punching technique, defence, counter-punching. May involve focus mitts, body protectors and sparring gloves. Strict rules: headgear, mouthguard and groin box required.
